Many pet owners are looking for answers on how the coronavirus will impact their furry friends.

Veterinarians say it's important for families to keep their pets on their normal routine, staying up on regular pet care.

“I think keeping normalcy is good," said Dr. Michael Henricks with Faithful Friends Vet Clinic in Dublin. "I think it’s great for the human spirit. We have a bond with our pets."

Henricks and other vets recommend washing your hands after petting or playing with a pet. It's a simple step that could help keep you and your family safe and healthy.
