The Greater Toledo Auto Show has officially begun at the Seagate Centre.

This year's event features a Fiat Chrysler Ride & Drive event, where anyone 18 or older can drive a Chrysler Pacifica, Dodge Durango, Jeep Wrangler and RAM 1500.

"We also have a photo scavenger hunt. We took nine photos of the cars when they came in, and if you can name the make and model correctly, you get entered for a chance to win a 55" TV," said Auto Show Director, Kelly Danison.

Just like at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit a few weeks ago, the 2020 Jeep Gladiator truck, which is made in Toledo, is already a hit.

"The Gladiator was a big get. It was basically unveiled in Detroit last month, and for us to have it in Toledo at a smaller show, it's a huge win," added Danison.

Thanks to the rainy afternoon, Greg Oberlin was able to leave farming behind in Bryan and come to the auto show for the first time.

"It's pretty neat, a lot of neat cars and new things coming on you don't expect. It's always interesting to see what's coming in the future."

For Toledoan Tim Lewis, it's all about a family tradition.

"Me and my dad come here just about every year to see all the shows. We've been doing that for years, all the way back to when they had Autorama at the Sports Center."

Lewis says its nice to be able to return the favor, after his dad brought him all the time growing up.

"Just coming and looking at the cars. My dad's owned tons of cars over the years, so it's nice being able to bring him here and get him to sit in some of the newer cars he just doesn't have."

The auto show will run until Sunday. A two-year lease for a 2019 Toyota Corolla will be raffled off that day, as well.
