Columbus, OH —FCBank is pleased to announce a $5,000 donation to the Crawford County Development Board, Inc. The independent, non-profit, private corporation is the driving force behind the creation of the Crossroads Industrial Center, located in Bucyrus, Ohio. The 212-acre development was built in 1994, and today more than 1,200 people work at various businesses located in the Center. The industrial park has 80 unused acres remaining, and FCBank’s donation will be used to help develop it in order to attract more companies to the industrial center.

“The Crossroads Industrial Center is a stellar example of a public-private partnership that has worked effectively to bring good jobs to the region,” explained Andy Dale, FCBank President.  “The Center continues to be key to the economic development of the Bucyrus area, and that’s a priority for us, as well. We are extremely pleased to be able to support expansion efforts that will further that goal.”

FCBank has been a staunch supporter of this local development effort from the start.  In 1994, when construction first got underway, FCBank was one of six Bucyrus financial institutions to provide loans to fund the project. The Development Board is now seeking additional funding to complete the project.

“We are extremely grateful that FCBank continues to support us,” said Dave Williamson, Director of The Crawford County Partnership for Education & Economic Development. “We are committed to developing the next phase of the project and, with FCBank’s help, our efforts will move forward even faster. “

Dale presented the check to Williamson on January 15.

As a community bank, FCBank, a division of CNB Bank, has been and will continue to be developed and managed by local people. This local decision-making provides a higher level of service to the communities within the Columbus and Central Ohio region.
